The episode one of the season 2016 gained nearly 1.5 million viewers, with an average of 914.000. The episode is currently the most watched TV entertainment show in Finland in 2016, and also the most watched Saturday night primetime TV show on Nelonen of this millennium.

Who Wants to be a Millionaire is the most popular game show in TV history and is currently being aired in 46 territories in the world. In Finland, there are contestants all over the country aiming for the top prize, one million euros. The show is hosted by Finland’s most popular presenter, media personality Jaajo Linnonmaa.
